Last.fm

I hadn't followed much the news around last.fm at the time but I think I have the final word about it. Actually it's not the same policy regarding the country and in France it was a pay for tool (check HERE, in French).

Amazingly, Ubuntu's RythmBox is well tracked by last.fm and I can use last.fm from it aswell without nothing having been asked to me ... for now and according to the announcement it is supposed to be a pay for service in Belgium too

But in France we don't have last.fm on iPhone (but we do have the French Deezer on iPhone) nor on Xbox Live which is certainly a very good reason to use it
