Role: Students
Specialty: Full-time / New Grads
Location: Madrid, Spain
Description: Main Purpose of the Role
Review the database and the display of one specific language (normally mother tongue) in the game assigned to the intern within a group of testers.

Key Duties, Responsibilities and Learning Opportunities related with the role
• Review the databases and batches in full cooperation with Translation Department
o Learning Opportunities: Understanding of Translation Tools such as ITD, Databases Tools, and importance of report and communication with Translation Team
• Perform a full review of the game assigned to them on one platform, detect and report localisation bugs
o Learning Opportunities: Understanding of the reporting system, worldwide database and first sight on testing and QA procedures
• Review the game to make sure that it is entirely compliant with EA Glossaries
o Learning Opportunities: Follow and respect Translations Documentation and Glossaries, which will be mandatory in their future career
• Follow guidelines to enter clear and concise bugs to report issues in the game
o Learning Opportunities: Regular use of written English in concise form
• Review of all localised game documentation

We are currently looking for fluent speakers to test computer games for our clients in Brighton. You must be completely bi-lingual (fluent in both French and English), have good computer skills and a keen eye for detail. Experience in editing or translation would be an advantage. Just for information, there is not only French on this page but also Dutch, or Flamish (only Skaila and Storm can make the difference here :D). The jobs are in Belgium.

I know Contingo. I've seen their ads for students. I wonder if this is a fulltime job, since they basically say 'to make an extra cent'. It seems an on and off job, and i'm looking for something more permanent-ish.

Then again.... Kinect.... *applies anyway* xD

You really want to watch the tester jobs, they aren't as fun as they are cracked up to be. Then I'd rather do translation work.
