Tadaaaaaaaaaaa !! Oki we had every year with more or less success our "top ten movies" but this time we speak about real awards covering different categories and voters (that means "you") will are asked to sometimes do more than just voting to a poll or posting once here. You will have some work to do and I count on you to do it properly !!

The different awards will go to:

• Best movie - all categories,
• Best Science-Fiction movie,
• Best Western,
• Best Gangster/Cop movie,
• Best Spy Movie,
• Best Fantasy movie,
• Best Comic-book adaptation,
• Best Horror movie,
• Best Zombie movie
• Best Comedy,
• Best Drama,
• Best Historical Movie,
• Best Documentary,
• Best Family movie,
• Best War movie,
• Best animated (traditional),
• Best animated (3D),
• Best Musical,
• Best G33K movie,
• Best UFO,
• Best guilty pleasure,
• Best (?) sport movie
• Best short movie

To vote you have to send me a PM here before Monday June 30th with one movie name in front of each categories.

For now it seems easy but here is how it's gonna get a bit more complicated and you'll understand why you have more than a month to send that PM

You can only vote for a movie which has a dedicated topic in the Movie Theater and in which topic you have posted at least once.

Please do post some comments below if you intend to participate so I see I'm not speaking alone

mmm ... no sport is a deliberated choice

Biography is an omission ... but there aren't much on The Movie Theater and it might add some serious work before the deadline. If people do vote for it, I'll count it too.

Be precise in your vote for the categories you might add and they might received an award as well then

I would include Sport as a category - consider things like

• Goal!
• Field of Dreams
• The Mighty Ducks
• Any Given Sunday
• Cool Runnings
• Ali
• The Miracle of Bern

to name but 7...

Now, I'm not saying they are all classic films, but they deserve a category.

You seem to have missed War films out, too.

As I said earlier, if you want the category to be represented you can vote for it but for some it brings a lot of work to do

Indeed the war movies represent a category which should be awarded as well
