Re: TLF Best Movie Awards 2009
Ummm, I've read the list three times, and I can't seem to find Best Horror Movie on the list.
Personally, I think iwe should have a separate vote for horror movies:
1. Best Slasher movie
2. Best Thriller
3. Best Death Scene
4. Best Movie Monster
5. Bloodiest Movie
6. Best Special FX
7. Best Starlet
8. Best Mutant Movie (as in The Toxic Avenger, not the X-Men)
And maybe one for Westerns too:
1. Best Spaghetti Western
2. Best Biographical Western
3. Best Modern-day Cowboy Movie (think John McClain in Die Hard)
4. Best John Wayne Movie (otherwise, he'd win too many of the toher categories)
5. Best Vendetta Movie
6. Best Gunslinger Movie
7. Best Rancher Movie
8. Best Singing Cowboy
9. Best Classic Western Movie
10. Best Novel Turned Into A Western

Read the list from the first post of the topic

It's getting far too specific. I've have an idea next about sequences but here we stay with the movies for now and, for example, I would be very embarrassed completing your second list about western. It's way to specific. Okay it would imply certainly a half-dozen of new topics in the Movie Theater from you but I'm afraid most the other ones would run away...
Anyway I'd like to be sure we'll be more than 4 (Raw, Wulf, Anakin and I) on this

I thought that when I saw both Horror and Zombies as categories. There really ain't many Zombie flicks that aren't horror...

Zombie Honeymoon is a romance

Fido is also not really an horror movie. Ok "Zombie Movies" includes nealy only "Horror Movies" but with a little something different...

You both have a point. Traditionally, zombie movies are horror movies, but I must admit that Fido is my favorite zombie movie, and it's not really horror.
If this works out well, we should do a Razzies list too and vote for the worst of every category.

Oki so let's face it we are not at all ready for June 30th
And there is no rush as well. Except if someone finds another way to organize this I think we can move the topics deadline till August 31th. Are there still some people in ? at least voters ?
