The Guild cannot be seen on TV but is the first web series to have its dedicated topic (and more should come

The gamer in question is my future candidate for roxor TLFer, the living dream of all gamers: Felicia Day

In The Guild she plays Cyd Sherman, a gamer who goes under the alias of Codex, her healer character in a medieval fantastic MMORPG she is addicted to. She is a member of her guild, The Knights of Good which also counts (from top to down and left to right on the picture up there):
- Bladezz (Vincent Caso), the guild rogue,
- Vork (Jeff Lewis), the guild leader,
- Zaboo (Sandeep Parikh), the guild warlock,
- Tinkerballa (Amy Okuda), the guild ranger,
- and Clara, the guild's Gnome Mage.
- Simon,
- Herman Holden,
- Sujan Balakrishnan Goldberg,
- ... Tinkerballa ... as far as the other members of the Guild know
- Clara.

The characters of Zabou and Vork have been written for Sandeep Parikh and Jeff Lewis who Felicia Day already knew from the Empty Stage Comedy Theater, a sketch comedy and improvisational theatre in Los Angeles. The rest of the cast was filled through auditions.
The dvd for season#2 has just been released on amazon.com but you can watch all the 2 seasons for free:
- on watchtheguild.com
- on X-Box Live with HD downloads for season #2
- on Youtube on watchtheguild page
- on effinfunny.com, founded by Sandeep Parikh, where you can also watch the very funny The Legend of Neil
- on iTunes,
- ...

Not convinced yet ? Well, take 3'59 and watch the very first episode

Now that several hours have passed and you've watched the two seasons in a row ... you'll be happy to know that season #3 has been announced today and we should see a preview of it on August !
A very impressive success when you know that after having filmed the three first episodes (in two and a half day) the crew had run out of money and that episodes #4 and #5 have nearly only been paid through a Paypal donation link !

As it is really a precursor and an inspiration for many shows to follow, I gladly mark The Guild with a great 6/6 and can't wait for my dvds to arrive !
