[FS 2004] Favourite aircrafts (and where to get them)

Postby Chevalier Bayard » Tue 08 May, 2007 17:03

When we play online, we can use all our aircafts but the other players will only see them properly if they also own them in their collection, otherwise they'll see a randomly plane from their own collection which can bring some funny things like a Cessna flying at mach 2.

All aircraft available online are not worth share, but there are many of them which should be. The goal is here to introduce our favourite aircrafts and where to download them so the others get them too :)

I'll start with my most favourite helicopter: Blue Thunder itself !!

Some time is required to fly it properly and it might not be a good choice for initiation to helicopter. But when you handle it, it is pure joy :D

You can download it from THIS SITE by clicking on the second link: FS2004 Gmax Blue Thunder Package.

Otherwise, here comes a non exhaustive list:

Most of my planes come from HERE and HERE, two french websites.

It lacks some helicopters here so here come a full Gazelle package (click on the pic).

You can add to it a nice R.A.F. texture, here.

Another helicopter package, but a real MUST HAVE now with the FS2004 Gmax Agusta A109 Package which offers several variants.

Image

Be carefull, that helicopter is very heavy and quite impossible to stabilize, like Blue Thunder. The panel design is simply amazing, clearly one of the most detailled I've seen till now !

Image

The gear is also animated and the presence of weels finally makes the landing easier as you can nearly land like a plane :D
